Upper Floor and Easy Access to the Pool...

Our condo is the upper right corner end unit in the picture. Because we're on the second floor, we've really nice ocean views. One of the pool umbrellas is in the center of the picture, so you can see how close we are to the pool.

...Golf, Tennis, and Ocean Views

This is an arial view of the Grand Champions complex. The condos are located on the right in the photo, the Wailea Tennis club to the left, and the Wailea Blue Golf Course is to the front and right of the Grand Champions complex. Dave is an avid tennis player and can always find someone to play tennis with during our stays on Maui.

Steps to the Pool, Jacuzzi, and BBQ...

There are 2 pools in the Grand Champions Complex-each having a Jacuzzi. Our condo is located to the right in this photo and overlooks the pool.

You can see the community BBQ set up in the front of this picture. It's great fun to bring your dinner to the BBQ area in the evenings, and chat with folks from all over the world as you grill- up your dinner. We have met so many wonderful people this way. Being so close makes this almost as easy as grilling on your lanai.

The New Kitchen...

We've done a complete kitchen remodel and added solid wood cabinets, granite countertops with decorative tile backspashes, a new sink and faucet, and new stainless appliances (dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave). The large refrigerator and professional grade stove have really made a difference to us as we LOVE to cook. The kitchen is even stocked with lots of spices, so you don't have to buy a whole jar of spices just to add a little oregano or garlic salt to your pasta.

The kitchen is fully furnished with new dishes, a nice set of hard-iononized pots and pans, coffee maker, rice cooker, blender, toaster, crock pot, henckel knives, bakeware, etc. Since we have a small child, we eat most of our dinners at home on our lanai, so the kitchen upgrade is our favorite.

While facing the kitchen sink, you have a view of the ocean - nice view as you're preparing dinner!

We have also remodeled the bathrooms. In both bathrooms we've installed installed new cabinets, granite countertops with travertine backspashes, as well as new sinks and faucets. New wrap-around full height mirrors have also been installed.

There are lots of new fluffy towels, and a hair dryer is provided in each bathroom so no need to pack one!

...View From the Master Bed

This is the view from the Master Bedroom. It's wonderful to wake up in the morning with a nice ocean breeze, and look out over the ocean. You can also watch the sunset in the evenings from bed. When there is a full moon, you can see the reflection of the water at night which is just beautiful! One of our recent guests told us that there was a huge lightening storm over the ocean one night, and they watched it from bed and it was just spectacular.....

Comfortable Bedding....

Our Master Bedroom has a brand new California King mattress and new teak bedroom furniture, The sheets are 500 threadcount Pima cotton, and there is a fluffy white down comforter on the bed.....not that you need a down comforter in Maui, but it's wonderfully soft and looks great on the bed! Very very comfortable! In fact, one of our guests commented that the bed was so comfortable that they often overslept!

The Master has a look-off door for added privacy if desired. We have provided an extendable table for a private breakfast, coffee, or an area to work on your computer if you would like to use our wireless high-speed internet. Also provided is a flat panel TV with a dvd player, and a chair and footstool that is perfect for reading your favorite book. There is a kitchenette off the Master bedroom with a small refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, and an extra set of dishes...and of course the master has its own full bathroom.

Great Views from the Lanai and Living Room....

The views from the Living Room are comparable to the Master Bedroom. That is the Island of Kaho'olawe, and through the trees are glimses of Molikini where you can take a boat ride to snorkel or dive inside a dormant volcano.

Our living room is furnished with a full-sized sleeper sofa, and a brand new flat panel TV to catch the big game or a movie. There are also two really comfortable dark brown leather chairs. We have a DVD player and a few movies for relaxing with a movie after a day at the beach. There is also a stereo with a CD player, and a place to hook up your MP3 player, so bring your CDs or iPod along...

The closet is stocked with plenty of board games and a deck of cards.

Our dining table has 4 chairs, but if you have more than 4 in your party, you can bring in the chairs from the Master Bedroom and the table will seat 6 comfortably.

...A Second Master or Room for the Kids

The 2nd bedroom has a brand new queen-sized bed and also a twin-sized daybed, which our 3-year old loves! The bedroom furniture is also new and is a dark seagrass. There are also 500 count Pima cotton sheets for this bedroom and another fluffy down comforter for the bed. There is also a chair for reading, and a TV for this room.

You Don't Have to Buy It or Pack It!

In the Lanai closet we've provided beach chairs and towels, a cooler, and other supplies for a fun-filled day at the beach or pool. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience. We even provide your laundry detergent!

Don't forget to catch sunrise at Haleakala, just breath-taking. But the cold and wind are just as breath-taking so we've provided some coats, gloves, hats so you don't have to pack your own. Go the first day before you switch over to Hawaii time as you need to leave by 3AM to make it in time!

...The Lanai is What Hawaii is All About

The Lanai is furnished with all teak furniture including a dining table w/ six chairs as well as two steamer chairs you can use in the upright position to enjoy a cocktail or reclined to soak up some rays!

The sunsets (as seen from our Lanai) are just spectacular! One of our guests commented that they actually saw the green flash off the lanai!!! The sunsets are never the same. The full moon reflecting off the ocean is almost as spectacular as the sunsets.

No Wonder Maui is Consistently Rated the World's #1 Island...

These are some pictures we took from the airplane on one of our trips to Maui.

Windsurfing Heaven...

Maui has excellent windsurfing and Dave spends as much time on the water as he can (that's him in the foreground of the picture). You are 15 minutes from Dave's favorite sailing in Kihei or 25 minutes from the consistent winds at Kanaha (shown here).

Post Card Beaches, Only Minutes Away...

Within minutes from the condo are beaches for everyone. Surfing in Kihei, snorkeling with turtles, boogie boarding, family fun at Wailea Beach, or for the more adventurous all-natural at Small Beach. We all love the Big Beach in Makena State Park the best!!!

Some pictures from "the road to Hana"....a MUST do while you're in Maui...
